Product Description:
1、 Product Overview:
The LXZ series dual rotor flowmeter (hereinafter referred to as the flowmeter) is currently the ideal generation of volumetric flowmeters in China. It is a new type of volumetric flowmeter designed through precision machining and assembly. A pair of spiral rotors are the moving bodies inside the measuring chamber, playing a role in dividing, measuring, transporting, and excreting the measured liquid. This model of flowmeter has added positioning gears in its structure, so that the two rotors do not come into contact with each other when rotating. This flowmeter operates smoothly, with low noise, minimal wear, high accuracy, and strong viscosity adaptability, allowing fine particles in the measured liquid to pass through without easily getting stuck. This flowmeter has undergone chemical nickel plating treatment, thus possessing anti-corrosion and wear-resistant properties, and can replace stainless steel flowmeters.
2、 Structural principle:
1. Principle:
The LXZ series dual rotor flowmeter measures fluid flow within the measuring chamber. A pair of spiral rotors rotate under the pressure of the liquid, and the enclosed space (shaded area in the figure) formed between the rotors and the measuring chamber wall discharges 8 times the shaded volume every time it rotates. Therefore, based on this relationship, as long as the number of rotations of the rotor is measured, the cumulative flow rate can be calculated, and the instantaneous flow rate can be measured based on the number of revolutions per second.
2. Structure:
The dual rotor mainly consists of a housing, a pair of spiral rotors, a magnetic coupling, a reduction mechanism, an adjusting gear, a counter, and a signaling device. The flowmeter body is divided into two types: single body and double body. The single body, namely the housing and the flowmeter box, are integrated; The double body refers to the housing and flowmeter being two parts. The speed of the spiral rotor is transmitted to the meter counter through a reduction mechanism composed of a magnetic coupling and a series of gears. The magnetic coupling is mainly composed of an active magnetic steel and a passive magnetic steel. Using a magnetic coupling can increase the working pressure and temperature of the flowmeter, ensuring safe operation and convenient maintenance
3、 Application scenarios:
The LXZ series dual rotor flowmeter is a precision instrument used for measuring and controlling liquid flow in pipelines. Widely used in departments such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, electric power, transportation, ships, oil depots, docks, tank trucks, etc., it is particularly suitable for measuring flow meters for industrial liquids such as crude oil, refined oil, and light hydrocarbons. The flow meters can indicate on site, read the code directly, and can be distributed with a communicator, output electrical pulse signals, and transmit them remotely to secondary instruments or computers to form automatic control, automatic detection, and data processing systems.
4、 Main features:
1. High accuracy, good repeatability, balanced operation, no pulsation, and long lifespan;
2. There is no need for straight pipe sections before and after the flowmeter, and the installation space is small;
3. The accuracy of flow is not affected by pressure and flow changes, and the performance is stable;

5. Equipped with pulse signals and analog signals, it can achieve centralized and real-time management of computer data through RS485 communication interface;
6. Low power consumption, can be powered by internal batteries or external power sources;
7. High resolution dedicated LCD display screen, intuitive and convenient reading.

6、 Installation requirements:
1. Environmental conditions: There are no corrosive fluids in the surrounding area, low mechanical vibration, minimal dust, and a location away from heat sources. For intelligent flow meters equipped with volume correction devices, there should also be an environment that complies with regulations.
2. Environmental temperature: generally not exceeding the range of -20 to+80 ℃.
3. Pipeline conditions: Before installing the flowmeter, the pipeline must be cleaned and purged to remove all debris, rust, and dirt. The connecting pipeline should generally be coaxial with the inlet and outlet of the flowmeter, and there should be no protruding objects protruding from the pipe wall into the pipeline. Flow meters should be installed without stress, taking into account the pipeline stress caused by operating temperature.
As a new type of volumetric flowmeter, only by meeting its operating conditions and using it correctly according to requirements can its ideal cost-effectiveness be utilized and its service life be extended. Therefore, the following three issues should be noted during selection and use.
1. Due to the use of a single shell structure, the maximum high pressure is not higher than 2.0MPa, so high-pressure long-distance pipelines are not suitable for use.
2. When reusing in non continuous use situations, it is necessary to exhaust the air inside the measuring chamber from the exhaust hole to prevent the formation of air pockets, which can increase measurement errors and damage graphite bearings.
3. The rotor clearance is not more than 0.2 μ m, and the medium has a longer stroke in the measuring chamber, which requires higher purity of the measuring medium than other volumetric flow meters. A stainless steel filter with a mesh size of not less than 40 mesh should be used and cleaned regularly. The rotor is made of cast iron material, and the moisture content of the medium is required to be no higher than 5%, otherwise it will corrode and affect its use.
