1、 Overview

Armored platinum rhodium thermocouples are mainly used to measure the temperature of gases, liquids, or solids in medium to high temperature environments ranging from 0 to 1300 ℃. They are usually used in conjunction with measuring and control instruments, recorders, and other devices. Mainly used for temperature measurement in glass, ceramics, steel metallurgy, salt bath furnaces and other occasions.

Armored platinum rhodium thermocouples consist of thermocouple wires, protective sleeves, and leads or junction boxes, with the protective sleeve made of high-temperature resistant material GH3030 or GH3039.

2、 The difference between armored platinum rhodium thermocouple and platinum rhodium thermocouple

The difference between armored platinum rhodium thermocouples and platinum rhodium thermocouples is that the outer protective sleeve of armored platinum rhodium thermocouples is made of metal material, with an unlimited length. During transportation, shipping, installation, and use, it can be freely bent without deformation or breakage; Platinum rhodium thermocouples are usually protected by ceramic and corundum tubes, which are prone to breakage during transportation, shipping, installation, and use. In terms of temperature measurement, armored platinum rhodium thermocouples can measure temperatures from 0 to 1300 ℃, while platinum rhodium thermocouples can measure temperatures from 0 to 1600 ℃. Therefore, suitable thermocouple products should be selected according to different temperature measurement requirements on site.
